The story behind it

Built for the woman who always belonged here.

The best businesses start with a feeling. Golf Girlies started with one question.

Meet the founder

What if golf felt more like your favorite social club?

That question started everything. Jessica has always loved the social side of golf: the lifestyle, the fashion, the unhurried Saturday pace, the time with people she actually wants to spend time with. The game itself is genuinely good. But the spaces? They were almost always built for someone else.

Walk into most golf clubs and you know immediately who the design choices were made for. It's not subtle. And for a lot of women, that feeling is exactly what keeps them from exploring something they might genuinely love. Not a lack of interest. Not an inability to play. Just a space that never signaled: you belong here.

Golf Girlies is the answer to that. Not a workaround or an apologetic accommodation, but a space built from the ground up around what women actually want: a beautiful room, real coffee, a boutique worth browsing, golf that's actually fun to try, and a community of women who feel exactly the same way.

Living in Missoula shaped a lot of the vision. Montana has a culture of outdoor life, community, and experiences that matter. People here aren't looking for a watered-down version of something they could get in a bigger city. They want something real, well-made, and specific to this place. Golf Girlies is that.

This is still early. The doors aren't open yet. The buildout is happening right now in Missoula, and the founding member list is the way to be part of it before anyone else. If this sounds like something you've been waiting for, you probably have been.

What Golf Girlies stands for

Four things we actually mean.

Golf belongs to everyone. Especially women.

Traditional golf culture has been exclusive by design for a long time. We're not interested in replicating that. Golf Girlies is built around the idea that the game is better when more people are in it, and that women deserve a space that was made for them, not adapted for them after the fact.

Community over competition.

The connection between people who share a space is often more valuable than the activity itself. Golf Girlies is designed to be a third place for Missoula women: not home, not work, but somewhere you actually want to be. The golf is the context. The community is the point.

Beauty and function aren't opposites.

A well-designed space changes how you feel in it. Golf Girlies invests in the room: the lighting, the furniture, the boutique, the coffee. A space that's carefully made is a space that's worth coming back to, and worth telling your friends about.

Missoula has been waiting for this.

Missoula is a city with serious outdoor culture, a fast-growing and active population, and a community that supports businesses that are genuinely good. Golf Girlies isn't an import. It's built here, for here, with the specific kind of person who calls Missoula home in mind.
